Laura & Jeff ~ Engagement Shoot

I shot Laura & Jeff’s engagement session at the famous abandoned farm near March Road. We noticed that they had placed a gate and locked it up to prevent the public from entering with big vehicles. However, we managed to walk through the small entrance and able to take these amazing pictures.  I can’t wait to shoot their wedding. You guys look amazing!!!

Karen & Barry ~ Married

Karen & Barry had a beautiful ceremony at the Rockcliffe Park in Ottawa, and followed by a reception at the Crown Plaza in downtown Ottawa. It was a rainy day, but the art gallery at the courtyard was very gracious enough to let us in to take some beautiful pictures. Here is a very small sample of their wedding pictures.

Barra & Mark ~ Married

Barra & Mark got married at the Marshes Golf Course back in July on one the most humid days this past summer.  However, it was a perfect day for pictures with interesting clouds that I have been wanting to shoot for a while.  Initially, I thought we might have to leave the Marshes place for a photo session, but the more I kept walking around I found great places to shoot.  Especially I was looking forward to shooting inside the tunnel, and playing around with some new lighting techniques.  Barra and Mark also got to sit on a golf cart during their photo session.  I had a great time photographing Barra & Mark’s wedding.  Barra was very quick to learn all the poses as you could see in the pictures below.  She has a natural talent for posing it seems.  Her facial expressions are classic, I did mention to her and i think her family did too that she should have gone into modeling.  She certainly knew the basics of posing for a picture.  She was a very beautiful bride.  Thank you Barra & Mark for making me a part of your big day and it was a very memorable one!!!.. Best wishes..

Melissa & Marcel ~ Married

I had the greatest pleasure of photographing Melissa & Marcel’s wedding back in July during the warm days. They got married in Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg. The ceremony took place by the St.laurent River followed by the reception at the Harvest Barn located inside the Upper Canada Village. They had a fancy horse carriage taking them places for the photos within the Village  It was one of the most beautiful weddings i’ve shot with lots of emotions, and happy tears I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. I want to wish all the best to Melissa & Marcel..Melissa looks stunning and beautiful in these photos.. She could be a model in those bridal magazines!! Here are some pictures from their most memorable day!!

Shannon & Jamie ~ e-Session

When I met Shannon & Jamie they were very interested in doing their engagement photo session in Toronto. Immediately I thought of Distillery district, it is a very poplular place for a pictures in downtown Toronto. We decided to do the shoot on July 1st early in the morning, before they were headed off to their cabin up north. Just like the last e-Session, we were immediately approached by the Distillery security and asked for the permit, which obviously I didn’t have since I figured it was just an engagement photoshoot, I figured they wouldn’t bother. Well we packed up, started walking to the other side of the district, and then I decided to take some pictures on the way. Few pictures turned into many pictures, and then the security guard saw us for the 2nd time and so walked toward us and told us to leave. Fortunately, Shannon resides just 3 minutes from the distillery, and Jamie quickly added to the security guard that we live just off the end of the street and will be leaving soon. Well the Security guard gave up and said Happy Canada Day!!, and let us be!!.. whew…

Well onto Shannon and Jamie, they were amazing to work with, Shannon and Jamie were really pros with their poses and facial expressions even though it was quite windy and a tad bit cold that day!!! They were super fun and easy to work with.. I can’t wait for the wedding guys!! Now that you are pros, the wedding will be a breeze. Here’s a small sample of the e-Session.
